It all started as a dream… one that became a reality on June 1st, 1982 with the beginning of the Aladdin Foundation of Akron, Inc. Within a matter of a few days, a patient at Akron Children’s Hospital, made the 1st wish to the Aladdin Foundation.

The purpose… to fulfill the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions in Akron, Ohio and Northern Ohio counties.
